Personally I like my post title better, but Robyn is sooo much better at writing posts than me! She has such a way with words.  I would also say it is nice to hear someone from the IT tech side appreciating that teachers need to be able to teach, and learners need to have access.

At the workshop I pointed out loudly that as teachers, why should we always be having to justify why we need access. Yes I did understand the IT support person explain that it helps them justify why changes have to be made. But honestly you would not believe what we are have to justify e.g. what use is video with students? I can&#039;t see the value of podcasting! Hello, we don&#039;t need you to see the point, we just need you to support us do our job better, and help us make your job easier.
